Part of Evan Small's ongoing Shadow People series, this expressive portrait occupies a space between observation, memory, and imagination. Rendered in saturated color and energetic brushwork, the figure appears familiar yet unknowable—part portrait, part apparition. Though identified only by number, each work invites viewers to project their own associations and narratives onto the subject, creating a deeply personal interpretation of the image.
