Morgan Wellens
New York, NY
Morgan Wellens is a multidisciplinary creative whose work spans visual art, acting, writing, comedy, curation, and digital media. Originally active within Atlanta’s arts and film communities before relocating to New York City, Wellens has developed a cross-disciplinary practice rooted in storytelling, performance, and creative collaboration across both physical and digital spaces.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Wellens founded Frame Worthy Gallery, an Atlanta-based exhibition platform dedicated to showcasing visual artists working within the film and television industries. The project highlighted the often-overlooked creative overlap between cinematic production and independent contemporary art practice, fostering community during a period of widespread cultural disruption.
Now based in New York, Wellens works as a Meisner-trained actor, screenwriter, and sketch comedian while continuing to engage with digital media and creative entrepreneurship through her agency Web25. Across visual art, performance, and media production, her work reflects an ongoing interest in narrative, collaboration, humor, and contemporary creative culture.
