Lassale

Atlanta, GA
Website_icon.png

Lasalle is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, vulnerability, community, and personal transformation through painting, textiles, installation, murals, and experimental media. Originally rooted in drawing and painting, Lasalle’s practice has evolved into a fluid and intuitive exploration of materials and storytelling, guided by emotional honesty and lived experience.

A graduate of Valdosta State University, Lasalle began developing a deeper interest in public art and communal engagement through mural work, shifting creative practice from private reflection toward shared visual experience. Their work often centers on creating space for emotional connection and representation, particularly within Atlanta’s Black queer creative community.

Balancing experimentation with instinct-driven process, Lasalle approaches art as an evolving dialogue between self, environment, and community. Through multidisciplinary work that resists rigid categorization, they continue to explore new forms of expression rooted in resilience, openness, and the transformative power of visibility and storytelling.
