Killamari, also known as Rod Ben, is an Atlanta-based illustrator, muralist, designer, and creative director known for his vibrant character-driven worlds that blend Khmer and Vietnamese cultural influences with street art, monsters, martial arts, food culture, and pop surrealism. His work combines bold color palettes, graffiti aesthetics, animation-inspired forms, and playful storytelling into a highly recognizable visual language rooted in humor, nostalgia, and identity.

Influenced by 1990s cartoons, comics, gaming culture, and urban art movements, Killamari creates energetic compositions filled with expressive creatures, exaggerated personalities, and richly layered environments. His murals, illustrations, apparel, and design projects balance “cute but sinister” imagery with themes of community, cultural representation, and personal expression.

A major presence within Atlanta’s mural and street art scene, Killamari has contributed work throughout the city including projects connected to the Atlanta BeltLine, Forward Warrior, and Living Walls. He has also collaborated with brands and organizations including Marvel Entertainment, Nike, The Coca-Cola Company, FX, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Through murals, apparel, illustration, and community-focused projects, he continues to build a multidisciplinary practice rooted in storytelling, accessibility, and cultural connection.
