Kat Stockton is an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary artist, animator, and creative director whose work explores nostalgia, perception, emotional complexity, and the evolving relationship between digital and physical media. Drawing from pop culture influences of the late 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s, Stockton creates vibrant paintings and mixed-media works that balance playful visual energy with deeper psychological and personal themes.

Her practice often emerges through an ongoing dialogue between digital processes and traditional painting, using fluid forms, layered color, and abstracted imagery to investigate memory, contemporary life, and emotional tension. Through this interplay of chaos and clarity, Stockton constructs visual spaces that feel simultaneously familiar, surreal, and emotionally resonant.

With more than fifteen years of experience across animation, commercial art, and creative direction, Stockton previously worked as an Emmy Award-winning conceptual artist and background illustrator for Archer at Floyd County Productions. She is also the co-founder and creative director of 404FoundATL, an initiative dedicated to supporting and amplifying Atlanta’s creative community. Stockton holds a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art and continues to expand her fine art practice through exhibitions and contemporary painting projects throughout Atlanta.
