Heather Marie Luttrell is an Atlanta-based singer-songwriter, visual artist, and performer whose work blends Americana, blues, folk, gospel, and Southern roots music into a deeply personal and emotionally resonant creative practice. Known for her powerful gravel-toned voice and raw lyrical storytelling, Luttrell has developed a distinctive sound that merges traditional American music influences with contemporary independent spirit.

Raised traveling with her father’s bluegrass band, Possumtrot, Luttrell grew up immersed in Southern musical traditions that continue to shape her songwriting and performance style today. Performing alongside her backing collective, The Possumden, she creates richly layered live experiences rooted in authenticity, improvisation, and emotional connection.

In addition to music, Luttrell is also a self-taught painter and illustrator whose visual work reflects the same expressive and handmade sensibility present in her songwriting. Through the Possumden Music & Art Club, she continues to cultivate a direct creative relationship with her audience by combining music, visual art, physical media, and community-centered artistic exchange.
