Atlanta, GA
Stacey DeHay, working under the name Coconut Moe Illustrations, is an Atlanta-based illustrator whose whimsical and character-driven artwork combines humor, animals, monsters, food culture, and playful storytelling through vibrant graphic compositions. Rooted in cartoon aesthetics, puns, and expressive creature design, her work creates imaginative worlds filled with charm, sass, and emotional warmth.
Originally inspired by her cat Moe, DeHay’s visual universe has expanded into an evolving cast of quirky animal characters, food creatures, and humorous personalities that blend absurdity with joy. Her illustrations often reinterpret everyday experiences through playful narrative twists, balancing sweetness, humor, and irreverent energy with a deeply personal sense of optimism.
Before focusing fully on illustration, DeHay worked extensively in animal education at Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium, experiences that continue to influence her fascination with wildlife and creature-based storytelling. Active within Atlanta’s festival, maker, and Free Art Friday communities, she continues to create prints, comics, stickers, puzzles, and illustrated products designed to bring humor, curiosity, and happiness into everyday life.
