Chris Alvarez is an Atlanta-based animation director, illustrator, and muralist whose work blends contemporary animation, large-scale public art, and character-driven visual storytelling. Working across television, murals, and collaborative design projects, Alvarez brings a playful and energetic sensibility to both commercial and independent creative practice.
As co-creator of FoxySwine alongside artist Courtney Hicks, Alvarez has developed a multidisciplinary studio practice spanning animation, illustration, and mural production. Together, their work combines bold graphic aesthetics, humor, and dynamic composition informed by underground art culture, contemporary animation, and pop surrealism.
Alvarez’s creative work has contributed to projects for major entertainment and media companies including Netflix, Hulu, Marvel, Disney, FX, and the NFL.
