Charlotte Hodges
Atlanta, GA
Charlotte Hodges, often known as Cha, is an Atlanta-based visual and metal artist whose handcrafted jewelry practice blends sculpture, anthropology, ritual symbolism, and contemporary design. Working under the name Cha Metals, Hodges creates fine jewelry and wearable objects through traditional lost-wax casting techniques, producing rings, necklaces, and adornments that emphasize intimacy, individuality, and personal meaning.
Her work frequently reinterprets ceremonial and relational symbols through an inclusive and human-centered lens, challenging traditional assumptions surrounding love, identity, and adornment. Combining ancient metalworking processes with contemporary aesthetics, Hodges creates pieces that feel simultaneously timeless, tactile, and deeply personal.
A graduate of University of Georgia, Hodges also brings experience in graphic design, photography, and multimedia arts into her broader creative practice. Based at the Creative Foundry in Atlanta, she continues to develop jewelry and sculptural works rooted in craftsmanship, storytelling, and the emotional significance of handmade objects.
