Brandi Smart is a Florida-born artist, tattooer, and creative entrepreneur based in Atlanta. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and more than fifteen years of tattooing experience, Smart’s multidisciplinary practice spans painting, tattoo art, and experimental media rooted in atmosphere, narrative, and visual worldbuilding.

Known for her evocative nocturnal landscapes and fascination with science fiction, horror, and cult cinema, Smart approaches both tattooing and fine art through a deeply imaginative lens. Her work blends technical precision with mood-driven imagery, often exploring darkness, memory, humor, and the surreal through richly textured compositions.

In addition to her studio practice, Smart is the owner of Empire Arts Gallery, an artist-driven creative space that supports contemporary art, tattoo culture, and interdisciplinary experimentation within Atlanta’s evolving cultural landscape.
