Kate Logan
Atlanta, GA
Kate Logan, known professionally as Artetak, is an Atlanta-based illustrator and visual artist whose work fuses bright pop aesthetics, horror imagery, occult symbolism, and 1990s nostalgia into a distinctive style often described as “Satanic Lisa Frank.” Blending kawaii-inspired color palettes with eerie and surreal subject matter, Logan creates vibrant compositions that balance humor, cuteness, and unsettling fantasy.
Influenced by horror media, gaming culture, kitsch, and underground illustration, her work frequently combines playful characters, occult motifs, and dreamlike environments through highly saturated palettes and graphic visual storytelling. Drawing inspiration from sources ranging from Silent Hill to retro animation and alternative subcultures, Logan’s imagery embraces contradiction—pairing sweetness with darkness in ways that feel both absurd and emotionally resonant.
Alongside her independent studio practice, Logan has created album artwork and merchandise design for projects including deadmau5. Her work has been exhibited throughout Atlanta’s contemporary art scene, including exhibitions at ABV Gallery and Empire Arts Gallery, where she continues to contribute to the city’s thriving underground and pop-surrealist art communities.
