AnnaLee Burnstein is an interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, fibers, fashion, installation, and performance. Utilizing materials such as polymer clay, tubing, fabric, paint, and mixed media, Burnstein creates emotionally charged works that explore the intersection between internal psychological experience and external identity.

Drawing from personal history while addressing universal emotional states, her practice investigates vulnerability, anxiety, transformation, and the masks individuals construct to navigate daily life. Through anatomical forms, macabre imagery, and tactile material experimentation, Burnstein reveals the fragile and deeply human tensions that exist beneath surface appearances.

Born in Roanoke, Virginia and now based in Atlanta, Burnstein received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012. Her work has been exhibited throughout Atlanta at venues including Echo Contemporary, Mint Gallery, and The Supermarket.
