Alexander Dreher, known professionally as DEADO, was an Atlanta-based artist whose energetic paintings, murals, drawings, and mixed-media works explored imagination, anxiety, humor, and the chaotic beauty of inner experience. Emerging from Atlanta’s independent street art and mural scene at a young age, Dreher developed a highly recognizable visual language filled with cartoon-like skeletons, strange creatures, layered text, and vivid color.

A compulsive and deeply instinctive creator, Dreher transformed sketchbooks, scrap materials, wood, cardboard, and canvas into dense worlds of visual experimentation. His work balanced playfulness with emotional intensity, combining underground comics, graffiti culture, street art, and personal symbolism into compositions that felt both spontaneous and psychologically charged.

Through organizations such as Living Walls and mentorship within Atlanta’s creative community, Dreher found a strong artistic voice grounded in collaboration, exploration, and constant production. His work continues to resonate through its raw authenticity, fearless imagination, and unmistakable creative energy.
