Soft Machines - Guidelines
Soft Machines explores the intersection of the organic and the constructed, the biological and the artificial. The exhibition examines bodies, systems, technologies, identities, and structures that blur traditional distinctions between machine and organism.
Artists may approach the theme literally, metaphorically, psychologically, technologically, or conceptually. Interpretations may address the body, artificial intelligence, communication systems, labor, memory, surveillance, evolution, identity, or any space where human and machine increasingly overlap.
Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting.
Artwork Requirements
Artists may submit up to three works for consideration.
All media are welcome.
Due to space limitations, artwork should not exceed an 18" × 18" footprint. Smaller works are encouraged.
All work must be original and created by the submitting artist.
