Created in conjunction with Vinyl VI: Locked Groove, can & opener is a limited edition conceptual object by Thomas Arthur Schaefer. Extending the visual and conceptual language of Public Image Ltd’s Album, the work draws upon themes of repetition, branding, consumption, and industrial packaging—transforming a familiar commodity object into a serialized sculptural multiple.
